Man found dead in Caddo Lake Sunday evening; Sheriff's office says no foul play

A man was found dead on Caddo Lake late Sunday night.

Just before 10 p.m. April 23, Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the north end of Caddo Parish on reports of a man hanging halfway out of a boat.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a 69-year-old man face down in the water in the 10000 block of Hart McFarland Road of the shore of Caddo Lake.

Deputies said that the man's brother found him hanging out of the boat Sunday evening after he did not return home from fishing.

Caddo Sheriff's Detectives have determined that there was no foul play in this incident.
