These might be the most depressing vacation photos ever!

On Reddit, a man known as widgetdude posted photos of himself on vacation in San Juan, Puerto Rico. But instead of happy beach selfies, every photo he posted showed him looking….sad.

Why? According to the man whose real name is Kevin Blandford, he posted the photos because he missing his wife. “Won a trip to Puerto Rico and couldn’t take my wife. Didn’t have a single second of fun,” he wrote on Reddit earlier this week.

Apparently, the couple has a six month old baby, and his wife didn’t want to leave the child at home. So, Blandford was forced to leave his family behind. Joining him on the trip was what he called a “dedicated” friend, who was on hand to snap all of these hilariously sad photos.

We don’t know if he was actually this depressed on vacation, or if he was just trying to make his wife feel better for missing the trip. Either way, we guess true love means never having to say “I had fun on vacation.”

Here he is sadly snorkeling in the beautiful crystal clear waters of Puerto Rico.

Here he is again, contemplating his loneliness in his plush hotel bed. He’s staring at his wedding ring and plans to only dream about his wife’s beauty.

This dazzling blue waterfall would impress other tourists, but Blandford is being a real Debbie Downer.

Sure, the fruit is this sangria was picked fresh that day. But it all tastes sour if you’re not sharing it with the love of your life.
