Much like his performance in Marry Me starring Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson, Maluma's net worth is best described as amazing. Though honestly, we shouldn't be surprised considering he has sold over 18 million (I repeat: 18 MILLION) records. Thanks to dominating the Billboard charts with hit after hit after hit, Maluma (aka Juan Luis Londoño Arias) has become a multi-millionaire. Emphasis on the multi. Time to break down Maluma's net worth and the genius way he's built his brand.

First Things First, What Is Maluma's Total Net Worth?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Maluma currently has $12 million sitting in the bank. A lot of that obviously comes through music streaming revenue and YouTube views (more views = more eyeballs on ads = more money), but he's also been extremely savvy about his personal brand. But before we get into it...this gif:

But also, this fact...

Maluma Makes a Ton of $ From Touring

Maluma's been on multiple major tours, which makes sense because he earns hundreds of thousands per stop. According to Forbes back in 2020, Maluma's average gross is $600,000 per show—but keep in mind a lot of that goes to his record label, the venue, and overhead. Still though, we can assume he's taking home a big chunk of that pie.

He Launched a Line of Clothing

It's called Royalty by Maluma, it's available at Macy's, and honestly I'm not sure why you're not already shopping. The second drop is currently out, and I think we can all agree, THESE PANTS!

“It was a completely memorable and inspiring experience. It was also important for me to share more of Colombia’s coastal side in this collection," Maluma told Billboard of designing the new collection. "I want to continue sharing Colombia with the world in all ways.”

He also told the New York Times that he was particularly inspired by the sky in his hometown, saying, “The sky in Medellín, to me, is special. I don’t know, but I get there and I see the sky completely different than how I see it anywhere else in the world.”

And Don't Forget His Fragrance

If your dream is to smell like Maluma, great news: on top of his fashion line, he has has a Royalty by Maluma fragrance line that dropped its debut Queen and King collection back in March 2022 with four fragrances at $45 each.

"The whole process was beautiful," Maluma told Allure. "I chose the way they smell with the whole team. We were in a lot of different meetings—it was kind of hard because I'm picky. But we got it, and for me, it's one of the best fragrances that I ever smelled in my life. It was a dream that I wanted to come true."

TBD how the line is selling, but it's allll part of his overall Royalty by Maluma brand, which is expanding daily.

He Launched His Own Production Company

Maluma launched Royalty Films to create his music videos and, per Billboard, to work on projects for other artists in his El Arte De Los Sueños foundation.

Maluma's foundation seeks to "positively change the future of Colombia’s most vulnerable children and young adolescents by helping them achieve their dreams through the arts developing and funding various successful community focused programs."

Meanwhile, Maluma says that Royalty Films will develop stories that “have not been told as Latinos and visually continue to disrupt by working with upcoming talent, who want to creative come out of their comfort zone."

He Does a Ton of Collabs

As anyone who lurks on TikTok or Instagram (an app currently trying and failing to be TikTok 🙃) knows; sponsorship, endorsements, and collabs are one of the most lucrative ways for celebs to make money. And Maluma is all over it! He's been the face of Versace, designed a bottle for Hennessey, and did a capsule collection with Balmain.

He's an Actor, Duh

On top of playing J.Lo's ex in Marry Me, Maluma played Mariano in Encanto and he has no plans to stop there.

“Acting is something that I always wanted to do and I am excited for the next movie," Maluma told THR back in February 2022. "My team has received some offers and interests, so let’s see what is next. But, I would love to play a role in an action film like Batman or James Bond. Imagine the first Latin James Bond or Batman!"

Yes to that! As you can see, Maluma has a ton going on, so expect his net worth to blow up in the next year. We'll be back to update this when it does, byeeeee.
