All the major designers showing at London Fashion Week September 2017

In 1989, Gianni Versace gifted his younger sister Donatella with her own brand. And so Versus Versace was born. After showing in Milan for many years, the diffusion line had a brief hiatus before relaunching in 2009 with the help of British designer Christopher Kane. After him followed another LFW favourite, J.W. Anderson, and then Anthony Vaccarello. But Versus has taken a different tack over the past couple of seasons, choosing not a fashion designer but ex-One Directioner Zayn Malik as chief collaborator. This season will reportedly be his third collection with Versus so expect more riffs on traditional sportswear including crop tops and bomber jackets aplenty. “Fashion has the power to send out a message of hope and unity, especially to the new generation. Versus is about passion, optimism and a fierce statement of equality,” summed up Donatella Versace.
