After suffering from depression and anxiety, Delp told Glamour that she became determined to no longer be a victim of her circumstances. When she turned 20, Delp won the Ms. Wheelchair North Carolina pageant. The next year, she won Miss Wheelchair USA. She created Live Boundless, an organization that provides wheelchairs to people without access or resources.
