Madelaine Petsch's Psychological Thriller on Netflix Looks Terrifying (PureWow)
·1 min read

As seen in the teaser, the movie follows a former violinist named Ellen Ashland (Petsch). After a violent assault leaves her blind, Ellen returns to her apartment and recovers with the help of a guy named Clayton (Alexander Koch). However, she begins to suspect that the people around her may not be who they claim to be.

Sightless was written and directed by Cooper Karl, who also worked on the 2017 film. The cast includes Matthew Yang King (also from Riverdale, FYI), December Ensminger, Bibhuti bhusan Behera, Lee Jones and Deniz Akdeniz. Kaila York, Rick Benattar, Nigel Thomas and Todd Y. Murata served as producers.

The movie has yet to receive a critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, but it already holds an audience score of 73 percent—and we can understand why. On Twitter, one fan wrote, "I’m watching Sightless on Netflix and I’m honestly freaked out. I don’t know if I wanna know how this ends." Another said, "I just watched Sightless and I have more questions than answers."

It's very likely that this movie will keep us up at night...but we'll take our chances anyway.
