Do not mess with Maddie Ziegler's little sis. The former Dance Moms star took to Instagram over the weekend to speak about the way people have been treating Kenzie online.

"My sister is my best friend in the whole world," Maddie began her message, which she posted on her Instagram story. She then went on to discuss something she said has been on her mind recently.

"It absolutely breaks my heart to see the hate [Kenzie] receives on a daily basis," she wrote. "Yes we all make mistakes but guys come on she's a teenager!!! She's a human being who's gonna mess up and she continues to learn and grow."

Maddie also told people to stop comparing Kenzie to her. "She's her own person," Maddie wrote. "And that's not just recent, that's been happening her entire life. She has her own identity her own personality. She shouldn't have these 'expectations' to live up to. She's perfect the way she is."

The dancer ended her message by writing, "It just needs to stop. I'm tired of seeing the hate. It pains me seeing the state it puts her in."

This all comes a few weeks after Kenzie went on live to speak out about a video that was resurfacing of Kenzie's ex, Ashton Arbab, saying an offensive word. While Kenzie is no longer with Ashton, she is the one who posted the video, though she claimed recently that she "didn't know he was saying that word."

In the comments of the video, posted on @TikTokRoom, people seem to be defending Kenzie, saying that it's not her fault and she shouldn't be the one taking the blame. "He’s an ex for a reason and why is she standing up for him he should be apologizing not her," one person wrote. Still, it seems like Kenzie has been getting a lot of hate lately, enough that Maddie felt like she needed to speak out. Hopefully, people will get the message and will back off.
