MINTY BETS: Hey, everyone. I am Minty Bets here with Kevin Iole, talking about the UFC Fight Night for May 13, taking place in Jacksonville, Florida. Kevin, I had a really fun time betting UFC 249, and I'm looking for any edge I can get. So let's start with the co-main event, Ovince St Preux, minus 145, versus Ben Rothwell, a dog of plus 120.

OSP is stepping up in weight class. How do you think he fares in the heavyweight division?

KEVIN IOLE: I think OPS is the better fighter of the two, but I think he's taking a big leap up to go to heavyweight. And so I'm going to go with Ben Rothwell, especially [? if ?] you're getting plus money with Ben Rothwell.

I like the fact that Rothwell has been improving in each time out that he goes. He's much, much bigger than OSP. And I think you'll see Ben Rothwell probably finish Ovince St Preux.

MINTY BETS: Really. And do you expect a knockout victory here by any chance?

KEVIN IOLE: Yeah, I think he could knock him out. I don't think he's going to submit St Preux, but I do think he has a chance to maybe knock him down and ground and pound him out. So if that's a play you like, I certainly would look for that direction.

I just think it's a little bit high, 7 to 5, to lay St Preux in his first fight in a heavyweight against somebody as accomplished as Ben Rothwell.

MINTY BETS: What round do you think this is going to end in?

KEVIN IOLE: St Preux a tough guy, so I'll say he's going to go the distance, and they'll stop them in the third round. Somewhere midway through the third round, I say that Ben Rothwell will finish.

MINTY BETS: I like it. All right, next up is the main event for the light heavyweight division, Anthony Smith at minus 175 versus Glover Teixeira at plus 145. 40-year-old Teixeira is on a three-fight win streak, and 31-year-old Anthony Smith has won four of his last five.

There is a significant age difference between the two, and we know age does kind of affect you as a fighter. Do you think age plays a big role in this one?

KEVIN IOLE: I don't think it is. I like Anthony Smith in this fight, but I don't like him because of age. I like him because of style and because he has been on form a lot better.

But when you look at what Glover Teixeira has done, you know, he's beaten some really good young fighters in his recent-- he's not acting like he's a 40-year-old guy. And he really can punch. I mean, he is a guy that has a knockout punch. So if you're looking for an underdog to play that maybe [? by-- ?] he might be the guy.

But I think Anthony Smith understands [? he's ?] very close to a title shot. And he lost that fight to Jon Jones, and now there's about three or four guys he's competing with right at the top of the light heavyweight division to get another shot at Jones. And I think this is an important fight for him. But I think you'll see Anthony Smith step up and [? win a ?] unanimous decision here.
