MINTY BETS: Hello, everybody. I am Minty Bets joined by Kevin Iole. This weekend we have got UFC Fight Night taking place here in Las Vegas, Nevada, Saturday, June 13. Kevin, how you doing?

KEVIN IOLE: I am doing awesome. Had a great time at UFC 250. Spent some time in the bubble, so looking forward to seeing the next show this coming week.

MINTY BETS: Amazing. So let's talk about the comain event first, the middleweight bout between Marvin Vettori-- he's a minus 215 favorite right now versus Karl Robertson at plus 175. Does Roberson pulling out of his last scheduled flight due to medical reasons concern you at all in this fight?

KEVIN IOLE: I don't think so. I think, you know, he had trouble making the weight, and they just felt like, you know, he had cut too much weight at the time. Remember, when that fight was scheduled about a month ago now, it was right at the pandemic and people were-- it was the first fight out of the box, and people were scrambling to kind of, you know, get ready. So I-- he has not had a history of having problems with weight, and so I don't think he will in this fight.

I know there is very much bad blood here, though, because Marvin Vettori really wanted to fight that fight, and he was upset because he's had a couple other flights canceled. He was very upset at Karl Roberson for what happened. So we'll see what impact that has with that bad blood carried over for a couple weeks onto Saturday night's fight.

MINTY BETS: Wow. Do you have any leans for that one, by any chance?

KEVIN IOLE: Yeah, I'm leaning toward Vettori. I think both guys are good fighters. Roberson is a kickboxer and really has good hands. Vettori has good hands, has a brown belt in jujitsu. I think Roberson has the advantage on his feet, but I think as the overall fighter, Marvin Vettori has the advantage, and I look for him to win the fight. I think he'll come up with the victory in the second half of the fight.

So if I were playing this-- I know he's about a 220 favorite at the MGM. I would be playing Marvin Vettori.

MINTY BETS: Wow. All right. And moving on to the main event, the women's flyweight, Jessica Eye minus 115 versus Cynthia Calvillo minus 105. Calvillo has moved up in weight. Is this going be an advantage for her?

KEVIN IOLE: Well, you know, it's going to be an advantage from the standpoint that it's not going to be so hard to make the weight. You know, she's had some trouble making that weight. That's been an issue for her. So this will be something that she does not have to do.

But she's going up against Jessica Eye, who is a significantly bigger fighter. Jessica Eye was at 135, came down to 125. So they're kind of meeting in the middle, one coming up, one coming down.

Jessica Eye, of course, fought Valentina Shevchenko for the title and was knocked out with that unbelievable head kick that Valentina threw. She wants to get herself back in contention, believes that, you know, she can kind of figure out the riddle of Valentina, but she needs to win these kind of fights. So this is going to be a very fascinating fight.

MINTY BETS: Wow. It sounds great, Kevin. Thank you so much for your time, and good luck this weekend.

KEVIN IOLE: Thanks, Minty. Good to see you again.
