Mad Bets: Will LeBron James average 25.5 PPG?

Minty Bets, Jared Quay and Frank Schwab debate a few NBA Player Props for the upcoming season.

MINTY BETS: There are a bunch of NBA player futures, but we're going to focus on one over-under on average points per game for some star players. I'm here with Jared Quay and Frank Schwab. And we're going to do a little rapid fire over-under here. So let's start with you, Jared. James Harden-- over-under 32 and 1/2?

JARED QUAY: Under. I mean, he showed up heavy set, and his team in friction. I just think 32 points is a lot of points to average, and I don't think he does it.

FRANK SCHWAB: I'm going to go against you here, Jared. Because I think James Harden's sick of hearing how he's fat and how he's been partying all the time. I think it's going to be the James Harden revenge tour. I think he's going to go nuts this year. Give me the over.

MINTY BETS: Luka Doncic-- over-under 30 and a 1/2? Frank, let's start with you.

FRANK SCHWAB: That. Is a lot of points. I'm still going to go over. I think Luka-- look, he's the MVP favorite right now. He is improving every year. I think he gets a little more efficient. I'll take the over. I'm a little optimistic on Luka being one of those guys this year take a big step.

JARED QUAY: I'm going under just because Frank's going over for everybody. No, I'm joking. I just think that's a lot, especially when you're going to get triple-doubles. A 30-point triple-double? That's a crazy thing. I don't think he averages 30 points.

MINTY BETS: Next up, Damian Lillard-- 28 and 1/2. Jared?

JARED QUAY: Over, here. Dame has been upping his game every year, and I don't see that stopping here. Over 20.

FRANK SCHWAB: Yeah, finally we agree on one. I love Portland this year. I think they win the division. I'm taking the over for wins. And with that, I got to take Dame, right? You got to go over. He averaged 30 last year. No reason for me to believe he's going to go down.

MINTY BETS: Steph Curry-- 27 and 1/2. Frank?

FRANK SCHWAB: I'll. Take the under here. I think Curry's going to get more shots without Klay there but also more defensive attention. He had his own injury issues, getting a little older, maybe a little worn down. I'm going to go under here on Steph.

JARED QUAY: I'm going to go under too. I've been fading on Golden State. I think that if they start losing, the pressure goes down. There's not going to be an incentive for him to try to score 40 points every game. I'm going under.

MINTY BETS: Devin Booker-- 27 and 1/2. Jared, I know you're a Phoenix Suns fan.

JARED QUAY: The D-Book show, man. He might win MVP. I think over 27. He's been getting better every year. This is time to take it to the next level, D-Book.

FRANK SCHWAB: I'll go under there, not by much though. I like Devin. I think he's a great player. I mean, he's capable of 70 in a night, right?

So it's hard to go under. But there's a lot more options now. I think Ayton's going to get his. I'm going to go under on Devin.

MINTY BETS: LeBron James-- 25 and 1/2. Jared?

JARED QUAY: I got to go under here. I think he's the GOAT. The only person that can defend LeBron is father time. There's no need for him to score that much with so many new people that can score points. So let's go under even though the Lakers trailblaze through this season.

FRANK SCHWAB: You know, LeBron-- I just looked it up today. He has scored at least 25.3 for 16 straight years, which is absolutely mind blowing for one. But I don't think it goes down. I'm going to take the over. He'll get some nights off, but that'll help his per game average. That's what we're talking about here. So give me the over on The King.

MINTY BETS: Frank, last one. Kevin Durant-- 25 and 1/2.

FRANK SCHWAB: I got to go under here. Look, maybe the load management helps because this is per game, right? We're not just talking about how much he's going to play with serious injuries coming off. I just don't like being optimistic and aggressive on guys like that. So I'm going to have to go under even though I love KD.

JARED QUAY: I'm not even with Achilles. Coming back from it is tough. Kevin Durant is a walking bucket. No matter where he's at on the court, he can score. So 25 is too low unless he's trying not to score buckets. But I feel like with that team, they're relying on him to score points. Over 25 easily.

Man, Frank we went the opposite. I got one that we could agree on, and I'm telling you right now. PJ Tucker over 6 and 1/2 is a steal. The guy's shooting like six 3-points a game. All you got to do is make two, three of them. Oh, I like PJ Tucker over 6 and 1/2.
