I’m a shopping editor, and here are 14 holiday gifts on my wish list this year

As a professional online shopper (yes, I love my job), I can definitively say that I am great at shopping. I can sniff out a good deal from miles away and tend to have roughly 728 products in my cart at any given time. So, let me help you build your online shopping cart. Whether you’re shopping for major sale events like Prime Day or just upgrading your wardrobe, I’ll always give you the must-have picks.

We all know it’s a given that the best part of the holidays is spending time with your loved ones, followed by so, so many cookies. Next, though, is shopping for holiday gifts for those loved ones — and that means making a list for yourself as well.

But figuring out what holiday gifts to ask for is surprisingly hard, especially when your family is begging for your list. Since I spend all my working hours shopping, I’ve already curated the best holiday gifts this year. Believe me, it took a lot of brain power, but I’m not one to gatekeep.

I am the favorite daughter in my family, and I want this hat to remind everyone. I am also the only daughter, but that’s neither here nor there.

$40 at Nordstrom

Ahem, the hat also comes with a matching "Favorite Daughter" sweatshirt.

$88 at Nordstrom

Having a special mug that’s just for me is a very important part of my self-care formula. Unfortunately, my go-to mug shattered while I was trying to kill a roach. I’m still heartbroken. But it’s time to move on, and I currently have my eye on this gorgeous monogrammed mug from Anthropologie.

$14 at Anthropologie

These impossibly soft (and chic) cashmere socks will keep my feet nice and toasty all season long. They can also be monogrammed for an extra fun touch.

$78 at Hill House Home

I grew up in an Italian-American household in New York (insert Sopranos joke here), so my diet consists mainly of pasta with some kind of red sauce. The best pasta, of course, needs a good pasta bowl! This set from Le Creuset is the perfect mix of chic, deep and wide.

$72 at Le Creuset

I live and die by the cult-favorite Nécessaire body lotion. It features a superhero blend of peptides, niacinamide and fatty acids to moisturize, firm and strengthen skin.

$28 at Sephora

IDK, I just feel like I'd really benefit from this viral octopus plushie.

$15 at Amazon

Yes, I would very much like to be cuddled up into this chic white fuzzy coat from Reformation from now until eternity.

$328 at Reformation

I've had my eye on the Nori Press ever since it dropped. It's an iron and steamer in one that doesn't need an ironing board. Think of it like a hair straightener for your clothes. Plus, it's lightweight enough to travel with.

$120 at Nori

As someone with acne-prone skin, I've been in love with Starface's mission since the brand first dropped. Why hide your acne when you can heal it with a cute star? And the star pimple patches actually work better than any other pimple patch I've tried.

$15 at Amazon

Kate Spade bags are just meant for the holidays. I can't stop thinking about this delicate embellished crossbody bag. It's so timeless so I can use it for years to come.

$156 at Kate Spade Surprise

I got engaged this year and want to lean into all of the cheesy "bride" goodness. Between the trendy acrylic material, long straps and subtle "Mrs." in the bottom corner, this is the perfect bridal bag.

$148 at Anthropologie

I’m super precious about every part of my beauty routine — however, I respect that a beauty gift it’s a no-brainer gift for any beauty lover. Instead of surprising someone with beauty products, just get a gift card so they can choose their favorites!

Price varies at Sephora

Speaking of beauty products, I would die to to open this gorgeous PAT McGRATH face palette. It comes with nine eyeshadows and two blushes.

$76 at Sephora
