While you may have ditched your makeup routine at the start of the pandemic, Zoom meetings and FaceTimes with the family sometimes call for a bit of concealer.

The beauty of concealer is that it offers just enough coverage without making you feel like you’re wearing a ton of makeup. And applying concealer is actually pretty simple. Just dab a little on the areas you want to cover up with your finger, and you’ll instantly look more awake.

Thankfully, you don’t need to break the bank to find a great concealer. In fact, there are quite a few drugstore concealers that give high-end brands a run for their money. Check out three of my favorite drugstore concealers below; they’re affordable and give great coverage.

Shop: L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer, $4.96

Why I love it: This budget-friendly option is available in 14 skin-tone shades, plus there are a few color-correcting options as well. This is a great pick if you’re looking for full coverage.

Shopper’s review: “[This concealer is] easy to apply. I can even it out and it stays all day! Seriously, I’ve never had to re-apply this stuff throughout the day, even over extremely red problem areas.”

Shop: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser, $7.98

Credit: Amazon

Why I love it: This affordable formula is available in over 18 shades. I really like that it offers buildable full coverage.

Shopper’s review: “I use this concealer every day instead of all my high-end brand concealers. It’s full coverage, buildable, lasts all day, [is non-drying] and not too liquidy.”

Shop: e.l.f. 16HR Camo Concealer, $6

Credit: Amazon

Why I love it: If you like a matte finish, go with this full coverage option that comes in more than 18 shades.

Shopper’s review: “I’ll never use another concealer. [This concealer] hides imperfections and brightens at the same time. The big soft pad on the end of the applicator is amazing.”
