Luke Bryan took in his sister’s children after she (and later her husband) passed away.
Stepping in for their dad, Luke walked his niece down the aisle.
The country music star was beaming the entire time.
Congratulations are in order for Luke Bryan’s niece!
On Sunday, September 5, Jordan Cheshire tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend and fiancée, Clint Eudy. Based on information shared by the event planner, Emily Clarke Events, the wedding and reception took place outside of Nashville at Troubadour Golf and Field Club.
As stunning as the runway-esque aisle, baby’s breath tunnel, and white floral stage were — not to mention the thousands of twinkle lights — the moment that captured the most attention was none other than when Luke walked Jordan down the aisle. Not only was Luke beaming from ear to ear while walking arm and arm with Jordan, but at one point, he even stopped to fix her veil. You can watch the sweet moment here thanks to our friends at TODAY.
“He keeps rubbing her hand,” one Instagram user commented on the now-deleted post Emily had put up over the weeked. “If you look up the definition of uncle you will see his name in the description. LUKE!!," another fan chimed in. “How blessed are those three kids to have Luke and Lina as Auntie and Uncle. Their parents are looking down so proud I’m sure," said someone else.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds celebrated with the Bryans and all of their friends and family in a whimsical, white floral-clad outdoor reception. In short, if you’re looking for truly stunning wedding inspiration, you’ll want to take a look through the pictures below.
Jordan is the oldest child of Luke's late sister, Kelly, and her husband Ben Lee Cheshire. In 2007, Kelly died of unknown causes. In 2014, Lee died of a heart attack. Since then, Luke, along with his wife Lina, have stepped into the parenting roles for Jordan and her brothers Kris and Til.
Through the ups and downs, though, Luke has always been a rock for his family. ""I've watched my family go through ebbs and flows where we get mad at God and we get mad at why this has happened," Luke revealed in 2017. "You keep going and you try to, try to be as positive as you can, and you try to appreciate every day."
