Luhan's relationship confession "broke" Weibo
10 Oct - China's social media website Sina Weibo "exploded" after former EXO member Luhan announced his relationship with actress, Guan Xiaotong.
As reported on Epoch Times, the 27-year-old singer-actor recently surprised many when he posted online, "Hi everyone, let me introduce her to all of you. This is my girlfriend [Guan Xiaotong]."
She later responded to the post, and wrote, "Oh, so awesome!"
Fans initially thought that Luhan's confession was for the publicity of their new project, as both he and Guan are currently filming a drama together, but was surprised for the second time when both stars confirmed the news.
His message has been liked nearly 5 million times and has drawn nearly 3 million comments.
Weibo also released a statement in the same afternoon, saying that its engineers are working hard to handle the increased traffic.
On the other hand, among the many who commented on Luhan's post include his "Hurry Up, Brother" teammates. Wong Cho Lam commented, "Come, tell us what happened. Let us brothers be happy on your behalf", while Li Chen posted, "Wish achieved. Congrats. All types of happiness coming up."
Born in 1997, Guan Xiaotong, also known as Gabrielle Guan, started her career as a child star, and has been around for 16 years. She has starred in numerous films and television dramas, including "The Treasure Hunter", "The Left Ear", "The Founding of an Army", and "Growing Pains".
