It looks like we have another clue as to who killed Bunny Folger—and this eyewitness is not a bird.

In Episode 4 of Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building called “Here’s Looking At You…” we meet Lucy, the daughter of Charles’s (Steve Martin) former partner. Her mom has remarried, and Lucy has run away to Charles, who was a father figure to her before her mom left him. But as it turns out, unbeknownst to him, this isn’t the first time she has come to the Arconia looking for him.

The night of Bunny’s murder happened to be the same night as Lucy’s mother’s wedding, and Lucy wanted to see Charles. She texted him while she was already in the Arconia waiting for him, and to her surprise, he blew her off. So Lucy spent the night in the catacomb tunnels of the building, which she discovered during her childhood living there. (They are, it turns out, accessible via Charles’s bathroom, which at least explains how the painting got in there.) While she was in the tunnels—or the Arcatacombs, as Oliver calls them—she heard a scream, and just narrowly avoided the killer as they escaped from Bunny's. Though she couldn’t make out who it was, she did reveal the secret Arcatacombs to Charles, Mabel, and Oliver, opening up the Arconia for their ongoing investigation in a whole new way.

Lucy is played by 20-year-old actress Zoe Colletti, who has also appeared in 2014’s Annie, 2019 film Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, and brand new Netflix comedy Boo, Bitch.

At the end of this week’s Only Murders in the Building, Charles sends Lucy back to her mother—but it doesn’t feel like the last we’ll see of her. Oliver could probably use a Gen Z hand with the podcast technology, anyway.
