Lucy Hale Got Pumpkin Spice Hair

Back on August 25, while some of us were dealing with a heatwave and all of us were definitely handling a quarantine, Starbucks unleashed its pumpkin spice latte. It's been over a month since then, but Lucy Hale decided to give her hair the same seasonal makeover — and her stylist, superstar coiffeur Kristin Ess, shared the unique shade on Instagram.

In her caption, Ess explained that Hale is no stranger to coloring her hair, except for red. For her first foray in the fiery shade, Ess said that Hale took every COVID-related precaution and can now say that she's had every ″color under the sun." The shade is a natural-looking, deep, warm red (no Jessica Rabbit cartoon red here) that Ess styled in loose waves for its social media debut.

"I mean!!!! This gets an in-feed post. @lucyhale has had every hair color under the sun EXCEPT red,″ Ess wrote. ″My lil colorist heart is full and now we officially know this chick looks good with any hair color [...] thank you for trusting me to do this (and thank you for Covid testing w me beforehand)."

Back in 2018, Hale had pink-red hair thanks to Ess's Rose Gold Temporary Tint spray (she let fans know in the comments of her IG post) and generally keeps her hair brown, though she's no stranger to blonde, either.
