LSU baseball score vs. Central Arkansas: Live updates from midweek showdown

BATON ROUGE ‒ No. 1 LSU baseball got back to its winning ways on Tuesday, defeating Central Arkansas 10-4 in a midweek matchup from Alex Box Stadium.

The Tigers (19-2) scored three runs in the fifth and sixth innings to pull away from the Bears after the score was tied at four through four innings.

Josh Pearson, Dylan Crews, Tre Morgan and Jordan Thompson all had multi-hit games, as Crews and Thompson also blasted home runs. Thompson's was particularly crucial, as his three-run shot untied the game and gave the lead back to the Tigers.

LSU starter Blake Money struggled, surrendering four earned runs in 3⅔ innings pitched. But freshman left-handed pitcher Griffin Herring picked up his slack, striking out three batters and only allowing one hit in 2⅓ innings pitched.
