K-pop stans, rejoice! Netflix just released its new documentary, BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky on Wednesday, Oct. 14. The doc follows the journey of how Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa each secured their spot in the Korean girl group. It also shares a bit about their lives before joining the band and how they've risen to fame since they debuted in 2016.

At the time, Blackpink signed with the South Korean mega K-pop label, YG Entertainment. Since then, they've become the best-charting female K-pop act ever on the Billboard music charts. Last year, they performed their first public full-length concert in America at Coachella, which subsequently kicked off the North American leg of their global tour called BLACKPINK In Your Area 2019.

And the girls have been busy ever since. On Oct. 2, 2020, they released their first full-length studio album, aptly titled The Album, which included eight songs. And those eight songs drew in a whopping 333.3 million streams and sold 70,000 downloads worldwide in roughly a week, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. Wowza.

So, yeah, Blackpink is kind of a big deal. If you've been introduced to the girl group (congrats!), here are 12 of their best songs, from the most recent to vintage.

1. Bet You Wanna (2020)

This is one of two collaborations on the group's new album, featuring rapper Cardi B. While it doesn't have a music video quite yet, the song is already one of the most popular from The Album.
