I Love a Leather Jacket Moment—Here Are the 5 Sleek Outfits I Want to Try Out

Fun fact—leather jackets are my thing. While I love the summer months and all of the warm-weather dressing moments, I always adore that first crisp day when I can pull out my go-to leather jacket (a Mackage style right now), and build fanciful fall outfits with it. While my uniform is typically the leather jacket teamed with a black sweatshirt and jeans or joggers, I wanted to uncover a few new outfit ideas to potentially consider at some point this season.

On that note, I spent some time scrolling through the feeds of some of my favorite fashion follows and saved five looks, in particular, that I think are sleek and easy. If you too are looking for some fresh inspo, keep scrolling to check out chic looks that could be worth testing out—complete with shopping recommendations as well.

This is one look I'm going to be recommending to my friends when they want something simple and on-trend. I love the idea of topping a moto jacket over a very-right-now ribbed dress.

Topshop Fred Faux Leather Biker Jacket ($88)

H&M Rib-Knit Dress ($35)

Nike Air Force 1 Sneakers ($90)

I typically go for black tees, but I'm feeling a white tee or tank to pop against the leather here.

AllSaints Balfern Leather Biker Jacket ($498)

Madewell Westville Tank Top ($35)

Levi's Faux Leather Rib Cage Straight Pants ($128)

Mother I Am A Voter Socks ($24)

Adidas Sleek Super Sneakers ($90)

A slouchy moto jacket with a turtleneck, white jeans, and classic sneakers is modern yet timeless at the same time.

Mackage Chloe Jacket ($1150)

Kotn Fitted Turtleneck ($40)

Boyish The Mikey High Rise Comfort Stretch Wide Leg Jeans ($158)

Converse Chuck Taylor High Top Sneakers ($55)

I actually have a tan moto jacket in my offering, and want to try it with an all-white vibe for something different.

Rachel Parcell Leather Moto Jacket ($399)

Mott & Bow Noble Tee ($30)

Good American Good Legs Crop Jeans ($145)

Sam Edelman Justina Chelsea Boots ($150)

I'm loving the idea of tying a beige sweater around the neck to bring extra dimension to a moto jacket and trousers silhouette.

Eloquii Faux Leather Moto Jacket ($130)

Ann Taylor Square-Neck Top ($45)

Vero Moda Lefile Puff Sleeve Ribbed Sweater ($39)

Everlane The Straight Leg Pants ($72)

Vagabond Shoemakers Tara Chelsea Boots ($180)

Next, check out more jackets worth testing out.
