Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague has revealed more footage from her boat ride with Maura Higgins where they "thought they were going to die", in a new YouTube video.

The pair previously took to Instagram Stories to inform fans of the traumatic ordeal they endured while on a boat in Greece.

The ex-Love Island stars, who were on holiday in Crete, hired a boat with Molly's sister Zoe and their hairstylist Jay for the day. Things ended up taking a scary turn when they were hit by strong waves, and the pair begged the boat's captain to take them back to shore.

In her latest vlog titled 'How we almost died on a yacht', Molly showed footage of the waves, along with clips of Maura, Jay and Zoe looking visibly shaken. She told the camera, "Guys this might be the last blog entry I ever do. We're all scared for our lives. We're on the boat and I have never seen waves like it."

She added, "Zoe was crying a second ago. The drivers are drenched, we're drenched ... They've not told us about any life jackets, we just set off and now we're sat inside the boat trying to hide from the waves."

Molly filmed clips of an outdoor table on the boat which had flipped over, saying that the food and water they'd had had been thrown off. She added, "We need to turn around. We went over a wave and everything just smashed and was falling off the shelves."

Maura can be seen clinging to the side of her seat throughout the video, with alarms going off in the background, until eventually the boat turns around.

Molly previously documented the experience on her Instagram Stories, sharing a photo of Jay on the boat with his head in his hands, writing: "The reality of our boat day. I will never take another day in my life for granted again. We genuinely thought we were going to die. I'm not even being dramatic."

She added a video of Zoe asking the captain to turn back, adding "never ever seen [her] sister speak like this" and explaining that they had asked over 10 times to return to shore.

Once the group returned to dry land Molly enjoyed a "celebratory milkshake for making it off that capsizing boat", before filming her relieved friends sitting around a table and declaring, "I'm happy to be alive with you all. Here to see another day – we made it."

Molly added that "right now [she's] just happy to be on solid ground", continuing "the waves were that bad the boat was almost capsizing and the drivers didn't speak English. There were no life jackets. Baring in mind me and my sister are both fully qualified lifeguards, we were both fearing for our lives."

Maura added on her own Stories, "So guys, we got on a beautiful yacht today – well what we thought was a beautiful yacht – and we nearly died and that is the truth. Strong life guard, another strong life guard and they were petrified. Me and Jay were nearly vomiting."

Glad you're doing OK, Molly and Maura!
