Love Island's Curtis Pritchard apologises for offensive jokes in comedy routine

Curtis Pritchard has issued an apology for reeling off a series of offensive jokes in his stand-up comedy routine for Channel 4’s Stand Up and Deliver charity show.
As part of his routine, the Love Island star compared his time in the Casa Amor villa to working in a dog kennel and also joked that the women on the show are like second hand cars. "Looking back now it reminds me of Love Island because when the dogs are in season they go crazy, there was bitches running around left, right and centre," he said (via The Sun). "They were trying to ride each other non-stop, it was wild... [like] dogs marking their territory."
The publication also reported he told the audience, "You’ve got all these different shapes and sizes in front of you, take it for a spin, take it for a test drive and if you don’t like it, you send it back."
After seeing the backlash to his 'jokes', Curtis issued an apology to anyone he might have offended.
“Before we move on, I just want to quickly say I recently took part in the Stand Up to Cancer initiative with Channel 4 where I was challenged to become a stand-up comedian," he said on the podcast he shares with brother AJ.
"I just want to apologise because I know that everyone that listens to this, you always support me and give me the utmost respect and thank you so much for that but I just want to apologise to anybody that I have offended.”
Curtis, 25, continued: “It was a great show to be part of and I was very fortunate to be able to take part but I just want to apologise and say I am sorry for the jokes.”
