Love Island winner Ekin-Su has defended her boyfriend Davide after recent rumours
Since winning the eighth and most-watched season of Love Island last month, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti have had to get used to the overnight fame and social media success that inevitably comes with being on the biggest reality show on TV (bar The Kardashians, of course).
While the win obviously has its perks - the 28-year-old actress and model landed a £1 million deal with fashion retailer Oh Polly as soon as she left the villa, and the pair have secured their own TV show - this level of instant stardom also comes with some pretty big downsides. We're talking zero privacy and constant scrutiny. And after recent tabloid pics showed 27-year-old Davide with two girls in London last Saturday (ICYMI, Ekin-Su was on a week-long work trip in LA with the clothing giants), she's had to shut down the cheating rumours that have since started circulating.
Speaking to Goss.ie, Ekin-Su addressed the snaps, saying: "I mean those videos, we know it's not true because I was talking to him the whole night. You know the relationship is between me and him and people like to talk."
She continued: "The truth behind that is it wasn't just him, it was a big group, and it just happened to be two girls in a taxi with him and his friend and it just looked wrong, that's all it was," before adding: "And you know I trust him, he didn't cheat, and he's my man."
But the fact that the two are planning on moving in together later this year (the pair spoke about the next steps of their relationship on Loose Women back in August), it seems that the reality stars are set to become a Love Island power couple. And tbh, we're so here for it.
