Lorraine Kelly's floral suit is the perfect summer wedding outfit
The presenter paired her £300 Phase Eight suit with a pair of green heels from ASOS.
One of the trickiest things about attending a wedding as a guest is what to wear. You want to strike the right balance between being comfortable (as you’re likely in for a long day of drinking and dancing ahead), and something that is chic.
Lorraine Kelly has just worn a floral suit that gets this balance exactly right. The ITV presenter posted an image of herself wearing the floral Phase Eight suit to Instagram on Tuesday morning and received a slew of praise from her followers.
“Todays look suit and top @phaseeight. Shoes @asos,” the 63-year-old captioned the picture of the white suit adorned with colourful florals.
She wore a light pink T-shirt under the suit and forest green heels to complete the outfit.
“Wow Lorraine you look great,” one user wrote, while another added: “You look amazing, lovely suit this morning.”
“Watching you now, as I do when I can, and immediately thought you looked stunning! The bright colours really suit you!” another person commented.
The suit consists of the Phase Eight Ulrica Floral Blazer (£179), paired with the brand’s Ulrica Floral Cigarette Trousers (£129), both available in size 8 to 18.
While some sizes aren’t available on the Phase Eight site, John Lewis currently has a full stock of both the blazer and the trousers in each size.
The white suit makes for a perfect wedding guest outfit because you can mix and match it to make the look your own. It’s a great alternative to a dress, and the blazer means you have a built-in option for when the mercury drops.
While white shouldn’t normally be worn by a wedding guest, the florals on this make the suit a perfect exception, plus you can add more colour through the accessories you style it with.
