It Looks Like Lay’s Wavy Loaded Nachos Chips Are on the Snack Horizon

However hard you think you work, it’s clear that the Frito-Lay flavor geniuses work harder. Lay’s has yet another new flavor on the horizon that combines a bunch of different elements in one chip. So we’ll be needing the Lay’s Wavy Loaded Nachos flavor sooner rather than later.

The new chips were listed on Target’s website last week — however, the page is broken and won’t bring you to the product listing. What does that mean? Probably that Lay’s isn’t ready to go live with the new flavor just yet, but it was featured on the backend. So while the info we have is limited, we can still get excited about it, right?

The bag doesn’t detail what ingredients were pulled to create the Lay’s Wavy Loaded Nachos chips, but we can probably guess. Classic loaded nachos are made with tortilla chips, ground beef, melted cheese, tomatoes, jalapeños, and sour cream — among other things if you choose. Now what if we use these in place of tortilla chips in making actual nachos? Nachos on nachos.

The 7.5-ounce bag has sports-themed packaging, including flags and footballs, which is leading us to think that they’ll be available closer to the fall months. It does say “tailgate faves” on the bag, after all. As we wait for the officially announcement from Lay’s, we’ll be dreaming of these.
