Looks Like Clare Crawley and Dale Moss Were Talking in Secret *Months* Before ‘The Bachelorette’
Sources confirm Clare Crawley started talking to “one of her potential guys” (presumably Dale Moss) back in March when Bachelorette production halted.
Clare and Dale are reportedly engaged and The Bachelorette has recast the show with Tayshia Adams.
In case you missed it, which, doubtful, Clare Crawley has quit The Bachelorette due to falling for contestant Dale Moss after just 12 days of filming. And now they’re maybe engaged? Unclear, but we can all agree this is a super-short time frame for a serious relationship—even by Bachelor and Bachelorette standards, prompting some fans (and Reality Steve) to speculate that Clare and Dale potentially broke the rules and started talking before the show started filming.
But Clare has definitely moved on with Dale in some capacity, we don’t have confirmation they were talking pre-show but we assume they were, and her story will be shown when the season airs in September. That’s where we’re at right now. Will update as I hear anything more.

And update! It looks like we do finally have confirmation that Dale and Clare were talking pre-show. According to a source who spoke to People, Clare fell for ‘one of her potential guys” (ahem, Dale) when filming was delayed back in March.
“One of her potential guys found a way to get in touch with her and they began talking,” the source said. “By the time filming officially began, they were basically already in love. No one else stood a chance. It just became so obvious from her subsequent few dates that her heart wasn’t in it and she just wasn’t feeling it. Then she said she wanted out.”
Kay, so in other words, Clare and Dale’s love story didn’t start a mere three weeks ago when they met face to face. It’s been going on this entire time—which means reports that they'’e already engaged make waaaay more sense.
