    Blame it on the stigmatization of veggies in cartoons or the unrefined taste buds of the young who have yet to acquire a taste for complex flavors, but kids are notoriously picky eaters, especially when it comes to healthy food. So when Bon Appétit recruits a panel of grade-school taste-testers to evaluate the biggest health food trends of the past 100 years, you can expect some harsh—and hilarious—judges. (Hey, keeping a sense of humor is a crucial ingredient for health.)

    When it comes to taking care of ourselves with a healthy diet, we should all set the bar high. But to be totally honest, we're not all that excited to snack on some of these old-school health trends either (though we recognize quite a few of them).
