The year’s biggest night in fashion occurred on Monday evening, and the 2023 Met Gala involved an array of fabulous looks.

SI Swimsuit models like Carolyn Murphy, Anitta, Ashley Graham and Naomi Campbell showed up and slayed. The naked dress trend is ongoing, pearls have proven their timelessness, silk trains are making a comeback and bows details are appearing just in time for summer.

This year’s theme and dress code honored German-born couturier Karl Lagerfeld, whose successful career involved creations with Chanel, Fendi and Chloé. The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Lagerfeld gallery opens on May 5.

Here’s a recap of some of our favorite looks worn by SI Swimsuit models at the May 1 event.

Anitta

The Brazilian singer rocked a marvelous black gown featuring a structured hood and silky train from Marc Jacobs. She accessorized with long white gloves, a gold chain and sky-high platform heels.
