- [LAUGHS] That's what I'm saying. The glossy lid changes the game.

Oh, OK.

[MUSIC PLAYING]

Hey, there, and welcome to "In the Know-- Make Me Up." I'm Melanie, and today we are trying the viral beauty trends so you don't have to. You're welcome.

First up, we're starting with the ultimate glossy lid. I first saw this on a red carpet, and I was like, are you kidding me? This is freaking cute and beautiful and also not at all something I can wear in real life. But then I found some products that allowed me to wear it in real life.

The glossy lid is so pretty. It's so fun. One of the things that I love about it is that it draws so much attention to whatever part of your face you put that gloss. On the gloss is light, joy, happiness, joy again. The things that I love to use to make the glossy lid happen is I first start with a base on my lid.

I love these Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks. They are super pigmented. They look so good. They're creamy. They're blendable. I'm going to go and swatch it on my hand because it is so easy to use. One swipe and that's basically all you need. It is so elegant. It just looks really nice on. That looks like a sunset in a little blendable eyeshadow stick. There are so many different shades, but this one is definitely my favorite. It is called Strike a Rose.

Every once in awhile I like to put a primer on, but I find that this actually stays without it. So why put on extra product when you don't need it? And I'm going to go ahead and blend it out. You can also use a brush. But when I'm on the go, and I really don't have time, I'm like, let me just put this on with my finger. I'm going to throw a little bit more on.

I first saw this on a runway, and I truly thought, I need to learn how to do this. I love a good multitasking product. And this is kind of the king of it. Actually, you know what? There is a real king of multitasking products and it is what's on the table right here. Boom. Bam. Wow. The Morphe Gloss Pop-- it's a clear gloss that can not only be used on many different parts of your face, but especially on your lips, which I love.

This is something that I'll throw in my bag just about any time I go anywhere so I'll have a little something that can make me sparkle. I'm going to put a little on the back of our hands right here. Perfect. So what I'm going to do is just dab and grab a little bit. I'm going to go ahead and just kind of roll it. Otherwise, it can pick up that base product you have underneath, and we don't want that. That's not cute.

So we're going to pop this here. And I'm going to go ahead and grab a mirror because I need to be close for this-- and roll. OK. This is becoming a look. I could go a little heavier on the gloss if I wanted to be super extra, but I'm going to be extra in different ways.

So what we're going to do is we're going to put a little bit of this back on my hand, and we're just going to kind of press this out. I'm going to put this onto my cheeks. So where you would normally put a highlighter, where that shine is, I'm going to pop a little bit more on because if you can't see me from space with my highlight, did I put enough on? That was a trick question. The answer is no. Absolutely, I did not put enough on.

I especially love doing this when my skin is really matte, and then the highlight really shines through. You know what? I think we could do some more. We're going to pop this onto the bottom of the lower lip just to add a little bit of shine and, also, it's going to enhance the fullness of your lips.

I think that's pretty cute. This really is a game-changing product and one that you 100% need in your life. Thank you so much for joining us today. This has been "In The Know-- Make Me Up." I'm Melanie, and we will see you next time.

Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the fairest one-- it's me. I don't even need to finish that poem to know. It's me.
