ZANESVILLE — Kristen Brown, president of ArtCoz, is partnering with Colony Square Mall to design and hand paint one-of-a-kind artwork at locations in the mall.

The Welcome Mural is located at the entrance to Café Court and features one of Brown’s signature sunflowers.

Two unique butterflies have also been hand painted in the Café Court, situated next to China Max and Picnic Pizza. The butterflies are meant to serve as a background for photo ops and include positive messages within the artwork. One encourages people to “spread your wings at Colony Square Mall.”

General Manager Jessica Brailer said Brown was a joy to work with and they're proud and excited to have her work display at the mall.

"At Colony Square Mall we are committed to creating a mall experience that meets the ever-changing needs of our community. It is natural that our center reflect the unique aspects of what makes Zanesville such a great place to be," Brailer said. "We are looking forward to growing our partnership with Kristen and continuing to bring more art to Colony Square Mall while we celebrate and support local artists.”
