Lizzo had the sweetest response to a fan's enthusiasm over her music.

The Grammy-winning singer shared a candid clip on TikTok of herself reacting emotionally to a young girl named Aria excitedly dancing to the music video for "About Damn Time." In a TikTok video shared by Aria's mother, Danielle (a.k.a. TikTok user @dcromwelldc50), the young girl is seen mimicking Lizzo's choreography to a T.

While recording herself watching the adorable video, Lizzo can be seen slightly tearing up. She elaborated on her feelings of gratitude in the post caption, writing, "Im crying cus this is EXACTLY why i do what I do 😭😭😭😭 i love you! Keep that confidence and beauty— no one can stop you!"

In another self-recorded clip posted to TikTok, Lizzo continued to explain her emotional reaction to Aria's dancing, speaking through happy tears.

"I'm still processing that feeling of … you never think when you're making music you have an effect on people or have an impact on people's lives, and this is literally why I do it," she said. "I'm so grateful that people take my music and do good things with it. It makes them move, it makes them dance, it makes them happy. It makes them feel confidence in themselves."

In spite of her many accolades, Lizzo said fans like Aria are her motivation for making empowering music.

"I don't care about all the other shit, the numbers, I don't give a shit," she said. "That video is my Grammy right there. That is my award, and I'm so grateful."

Afterward, Danielle and Aria thanked both Lizzo and fans for their support.

"Lizzo was so emotional watching your video. You know why?" Danielle said to her daughter in the TikTok. "Because all she wants to do is be an inspiration to little girls like you."
