Lizzo wore an eye-catching, ruffled, bright orange dress for her big night Sunday at the American Music Awards 2019, but all anyone could talk about was the accessory she carried down the red carpet: an itty-bitty handbag designed by Valentino.

The “Truth Hurts” singer and rapper said that only three of the designer bags exist in the world.

She also joked about what exactly the bag contained, as she headed inside the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

“Oh I’ve got tampons in here, a flask of tequila, condoms...” Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Jefferson, quipped to Pop Sugar.

Of course, people on social media offered their own funny takes on the bag’s contents.

There were several cracks about the items relating to Taylor Swift’s feud with music execs Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta. There were also references to the bag housing all her cares about what people think of her.

There were some references to K-pop, too.

Her tiny bag was stealing the show before it even started.

Still, Lizzo faced the possibility of leaving the show with some other, shinier accessories. She was nominated for three American Music Awards, in the categories of Best New Artist, Favorite Female Artist - Soul/R&B and Favorite Song - Soul/R&B, for “Juice.”
