Little Mix Releases Music Videos For "Strip" and "More Than Words"

Get ready for a self-love dance party in your room.

Little Mix just dropped their fifth album, LM5, and as if a brand-new album full of their signature girl-power bops wasn’t enough, they’ve also treated fans to not one but two new music videos — one of which may just inspire you to have a self-love party in your room today.

Their new video for “Strip” shows the Little Mix singers in black and white, looking stripped down and simply beautiful sans their signature glam. The song is all about loving yourself just as you are and embracing the things you thought were “flaws,” with lyrics like, “You say I ain't pretty / Well, I say I'm beautiful” and “Sexiest when I’m confident.” At one point, the girls are shown naked with hurtful words written on their skin, meant to represent things they’ve been called in the past — but no longer take to heart.

It’s not just the foursome who appear in the video, either; we get to see their family members, including their moms, plus cameos from inspiring women like author Dina Torkia, activist Nimco Ali, YouTuber Hannah Witton, model Maxim Magnus, rapper Sharaya J, and more, all celebrating themselves and their individual beauty. Everyone appears to be having an amazing time; the video itself is a joyful celebration of being comfortable in your skin, and it’s hard not to feel the positive energy the band and their video costars are putting out.

“We have loved sharing all these incredible, inspirational women and their stories with you. And we have a little surprise 👀,” the band wrote on Instagram before the video was released. “A few months ago, we invited all the women to be a part of our brand new music video for #Strip. ‘Strip’ is a really special song from LM5, it’s all about standing proud and we wrote it to encourage and empower people to be who they are.”

In addition to dropping the video for "Strip," the group also released a brand-new video for their song "More Than Words," featuring Kamille. Check them both out below.
