Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna wants to bring you more of the drama you know and love from the reality franchise—she just doesn’t know when or how. Season 10 of the beloved Bravo series is currently airing, but next steps for season 11, which was supposed to start filming in August, remains up in the air. “Who knows? Maybe we can quarantine all together with the crew for 14 days and do some kind of weird Big Brother shoot,” she says with a laugh. “I’m envisioning all kinds of things.”
The Housewives under one roof? It’s hard not to start salivating over the potential. “I’m willing!” Rinna says. “We need the content. We need a job.”
For any RHOBH fan, it’s not surprising that Rinna is finding ways to keep active during this difficult time. “So much of my mental health is wrapped up in endorphins, so I’ve been hiking now that the trails have opened up," she says. "I’m watching Netflix, I’m reading books, Harry [Hamlin, Rinna’s husband] is growing a garden and cooking a lot, and the girls [daughters Amelia Gray and Delilah Belle] are here most of the time. We’re very blessed.” Oh, and she’s also dancing a lot on Instagram.
If you’re not currently watching RHOBH, know that a Bravo session is a great quarantine escape. Rinna can attest to that. “We get an advanced screener [of the series] every week, so Harry and I watch that, and we also watch the episode live,” she says. “We watch it together every week, and he’s never missed an episode.” Between screen time and hiking, here’s how else the Housewife has been filling her days.
The dish my husband loves to cook
I'm not a big cook myself, but my favorite dish that gets cooked for me is Harry’s spaghetti Bolognese. It’s just delicious.
My favorite app on my phone
Audible. I listen to a lot of books. I just started listening to André Leon Talley's memoir, The Chiffon Trenches, and I'm loving it.
The reality show I watch the most
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills! [Laughs.] I check in on the other franchises every once in a while, but I think it’s really tough to watch another series when you’re on one because it’s just so stressful. I was able to watch them before, but I can’t watch them now that I’m in one. It’s too stressful. But I also like RuPaul’s Drag Race. That’s my favorite right now.
The leggings I call my “happy pants”
I have a new favorite brand: Terez. Nothing fits better. Because of the cut, they come up high enough so that I can wear crop tops. I wore the leopard print recently, but I just saw that they make a rainbow leopard pair. I might need to get those. [Terez founder] Zara Tisch is a genius. They keep me so happy—they are happy pants. I am obsessed.

The last thing I bought
I am keeping Amazon very busy right now—let’s put it that way. But we’ve also really been trying to support local businesses as well. The last thing I bought were two dresses that were on sale on Matches Fashion. I was envisioning wearing them for the next season of Housewives. Of course, we’re not going anywhere right now, but I still love my fashion!
The self-care product that brings me joy
$95.00, Lancer Skincare
My secret beauty tip
You have to wear sunscreen—that’s the secret right there. I put it on right when I wake up in the morning. A dermatologist told me that you should put it on in the morning because light is coming into your house, and now that we’re on computers, you might be getting sun damage from those damn screens. I like the tinted sunscreen from EltaMD.
My go-to pair of sneakers
My favorite scent
I’m allergic to perfume, unfortunately, so I don’t wear fragrances, but I do love the smell of lavender oil.
My fave season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Probably my first season, season five. I just think it worked. It's hard to watch yourself on the show, but I liked that season. I came in with Eileen, and I just think it's kind of an iconic season.
A surprisingly good movie snack
Popcorn and Reese’s Pieces mixed together. It’s so good.
My favorite jeans
I’m not just saying this, but my Lisa Rinna Collection jeans for QVC. They took me six years and are really soft, comfortable, and fit well. If there was another pair of jeans that I thought was better, I would say that, but I think mine are actually my favorite. It’s true.
The workout that wakes me up
I’ve been getting up in the morning and taking Isaac Boots’s class at 8 a.m., which I love. We’ve formed this quarantine community of a group of regulars that does the class, so we shout out to each other. It’s been really helpful. It’s about 50 minutes, DJ Steph plays the best music, and it’s just a bright light. And you know, it’s raised my tush up five inches, so I’ll take that!
The best item from Sutton’s gift bag
Oh, that clutch! I’ve already used that Perrin Paris clutch so many times. It was one of the best gift bags ever.
