Lindsay Lohan pays tribute to ex Harry Morton after his sudden death at age 38

Lindsay Lohan is paying tribute to ex-boyfriend Harry Morton following his sudden death at the age of 38.

The restauranteur, who founded the Pink Taco chain, was found dead at his $25 million Beverly Hills home on Saturday, reportedly by his younger brother.

While a cause of death has yet to be determined, an autopsy report is pending and there was reportedly no evidence of foul play in his death.

Lohan, 33, who dated Morton during the summer of 2006, took to Instagram on Sunday to react to her ex's death with a simple message. The nightclub entrepreneur posted a black-and-white photo of herself with Morton and captioned it, "Best friends. Best life."

Her family members all commented on the post, with mom, Dina, writing, "So sorry my lil princess. He's always with you, watching over you baby." Her siblings and father posted emojis.

Lohan and Morton attended the 2006 premiere of Lohan's film, "Bobby," at the Venice Film Festival. He had also been romantically connected to Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Jennifer Aniston and Demi Moore, People reports. He used to also be the owner of West Hollywood hotspot Viper Room.

Morton was the son of Hard Rock Cafe and Hotels co-founder, Peter Morton, and his grandfather was Morton's The Steakhouse founder, Arnie Morton.

"Harry’s family is devastated," a source told Page Six. "They believe his sudden death is related to an unforeseen medical issue, but it is too early to say."

People reports that Morton's half-sister, Domino Harvey, tragically died of an overdose at the age of 35 back in 2005.

Morton's restaurant chain, Pink Taco, released a statement mourning his death.

"We are saddened by the passing of Harry Morton, the founder and former owner of Pink Taco," the statement read. "Harry was a visionary and restaurateur ahead of his time, and his contributions, both professionally to our brand and personally to those he worked with, were numerous. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and friends during this difficult time."
