Linda E. Walls, 67, of New Philadelphia, dies in Friday crash on Route 800
DOVER TOWNSHIP — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-car crash that resulted in the death of Linda E. Walls, 67, of New Philadelphia on Friday.
The crash occurred when Walls was northbound on state Route 800, according to Sgt. Gary Wolfe. She drove off the right side of the road, hitting two utility poles and a mailbox. The 2004 Saturn Vue then overturned down an embankment and struck several trees.
Walls was pronounced dead at the scene.
She was not wearing a seat belt.
The crash occurred just south of the Dover Dam at 4:12 p.m.
