Lily-Rose Admits Being Johnny Depp’s Daughter Is Tough

Lily-Rose Depp burst onto the scene last year and has taken the world by storm with her modelling credentials and huge social media following.

The sixteen-year-old has even tried her hand at a bit of acting and was widely praised for speaking out about her sexuality.

However, it has not always been plain sailing for the daughter of superstar Johnny Depp and his ex-wife, Vanessa Paradis, with Lily-Rose admitting that growing up in the spotlight is pretty ruddy tough.

Speaking in a new interview, the teen explained: “It is delicate being my age, and trying to do all the regular teenager stuff, and then having that in the spotlight.”

However, she goes on to add to Love magazine that her father’s fame has opened the door to many opportunities that she wouldn’t have had otherwise.

She shared: “But I am grateful for what it brings and it is honestly a small price to pay to get to do what I want to do - I am very happy about that.”

54-year-old Johnny previously admitted that he and his daughter are incredibly close and that he could not be more proud of her career, explaining: “She’s got thousands of followers on social media, and they were all taken completely by surprise [when she announced she was sexually fluid]. But not me. I already knew because she tells me everything - she’s not afraid to say anything to me.

"We’re super-tight and I’m very proud of our relationship.

"And, whatever she is doing, if she needs any advice, I’m there for her. Kids are going to make their own decisions, but I guess that the only thing you can do as a parent is to offer support. And I do.”

Something tells us that we are going to be seeing a lot more of Lily-Rose over the next few years…
