Lily Collins might have played a princess onscreen, but now she's found her real-life Prince Charming! Lily announced her engagement to director Charlie McDowell on September 25 via a series of Instagram photos. Lily and Charlie were first spotted together last July and seemingly confirmed their relationship the following month.

"I’ve been waiting my lifetime for you and I can’t wait to spend our lifetime together..." Lily captioned the first post. She later wrote in the second post, "The purest joy I’ve ever felt..." Charlie echoed her sentiment, writing, "In a time of uncertainty and darkness you have illuminated my life. I will forever cherish my adventure with you. 💍🎉"

Other than the adorable proposal (surrounded by nature no less!), what's really catching everyone's eye is Lily's unique ring. At first glance, it doesn't even look like a diamond, but it's actually a rose-cut diamond with a bezel setting and thin gold band.

Jewelry designer Irene Neuwirth commented on Charlie's pic with a string of red heart emojis. He replied, "Thank you for making the most beautiful ring I've ever seen." Lily added, "Thank you from the bottom of my heart SO much for the most stunning, perfect ring. It's breathtaking." Irene Neuwirth's rep confirmed the ring is a "one-of-a-kind rose-cut diamond," People reports.

Congratulations are trickling in from Lily's very famous followers. Jennifer Garner wrote, "Congratulations, Lily!!!! 🌟♥️♥️♥️♥️." While Ciara commented, "Soooo happy for you! Love you Li Li boo! What a special day 🥰❤️💍💃🏽" And Sarah Hyland expressed her excitement, writing, "OMG YESSSS!!!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍"
