Lily Aldridge Gives Us Holiday Beauty Inspiration That’s Not Boring

If you’re on the hunt for a holiday beauty look that’s classic and elegant but still unique and modern, Lily Aldridge should be all over your Pinterest board. The model served up a look that’s both retro and trendy, with a glamorous curled lob à la Marilyn Monroe and a mod blazer to match.

She wore a perfect bronzy rouge on the apple of her cheeks, draping the color to suit her face shape rather than contouring. Spots of pearlescent highlighter on the high points also give her the structure of a contoured look, and her arched, matte brows frame her face in a classically ’60s style.

And while her satin red lips are an exciting pop of color, it’s Aldridge’s eyes that make the look unique. The model proves that a bold eye and lip can work well together, with inky brown cream shadow that’s darker on the lower lid — a trend we expect to see more of in 2017.
