Lil Nas X Posted A Whole Bunch Of Selfies In The Met Gala, Which Is Definitely Breaking A Bunch Of Rules

Lil Nas X attended the 2023 Met Gala last night, and ended up breaking one of its most notorious rules.

I am, of course, talking about the reported 'no selfies' rule, which was imposed in 2015 by Anna Wintour. It also likely applies to social media overall.

Of course, it is an oft-broken rule — Kylie Jenner's 2017 bathroom selfie certainly comes to mind. Hell, I'm sure that Lil Nas X wasn't the only one last night to post a selfie, but it is worth discussing because he is fabulous (and also posted a LOT).

Things started with this pic with Naomi Campbell, where her eyes confirm what we were all thinking: Sweet Moses, that coat looks soft.

Then we have this image with Jack Harlow. I saw numerous tweets comparing Jack to Mr. Tumnus last night, and I cannot unsee it.

One thing that I am getting from these images is that he was very, very tall last night.

This one isn't technically a selfie, but it does have a caption: "m." Note the set inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s home library in the background. Wow, I am poor.

It was only in this image that I noticed the detailing on his teeth. I then tried to look for what the menu was for last night's dinner, only to instead stumble upon the far more interesting fact that Lagerfeld apparently used to drink up to 10 Diet Cokes a day. Wowza!
