Lil Nas X Channels a Kim Kardashian Classic Look on the 2022 Grammy Awards Red Carpet

Even though Lil Nas X released his first album last fall, he is no rookie at this red carpet game. I mean, just look at what he wore to the 2022 Grammys—an all-white bedazzled quilted outfit that was giving every single thing it was supposed to give.

The jacket featured colorful butterflies that are an obvious nod to his album Montero and platform shoes that we can’t help but be obsessed with. The whole look is by Balmain and he paired it with silver jewelry including his iconic grills that he often sports on the red carpet.

Many fans are absolutely loving his look on social media, especially since it gives the same vibes as Kim Kardashian’s bachelorette party dress back in 2014, which was also designed by Balmain.

Lil Nas X is nominated for five awards tonight, including Album of the Year for his child debut album Montero. He also secured nods for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Music Video for his hit single “Montero (Call Me by Your Name),” which pretty much broke the internet with that e-p-i-c pole dance into hell scene that led to giving the devil a lap dance.

Back in the precedented times...of January 2020, Lil Nas X won his first Grammys fresh off the “Old Town Road” high. Naturally, he wore hot pink everything to that ceremony, from the cowboy hat to the boots.
