Lil Nas X and BTS’s RM Release “Seoul Town Road”

The remix to end all remixes.

Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” is the undeniable song of summer. Since its release in December, the hit track has remained atop the Billboard Hot 100 for months and experienced a few recent remixes as well, including one featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, Young Thug, and Mason Ramsey (yes, the viral yodeling kid). But last night the ultimate remix dropped: The rapper has collaborated with BTS’s RM on “Seoul Town Road.”

On the reworked track, RM adds his South Korean flavor to the smash song, rapping lyrics such as, “I got the homis in my bag, have you heard of that, homis made of steel, from Korea, they the be-e-est.” Since dropping, the YouTube video for the single has garnered almost 1 million views—the BTS Army stronger than ever. While other remixes of the track (including with Dolly Parton!) were rumored to be coming, Lil Nas X tweeted last night, “Last one I promissee”—and it’s easy to see why he would end there. One-upping an RM appearance is hard to do.

Below, listen to “Seoul Town Road.”
