Fans are praising Lil Nas X's jaw-dropping red carpet look at the BET Awards.

The "Old Town Road" rapper rocked two gender-fluid looks at the music awards show on Sunday evening — and both were instant hits with fans on social media.

The 22-year-old rapper arrived in a blue and white skirt with a matching corset, suspenders and jacket by designer Andrea Grossi. The look was featured in the Italian designer's debut collection, that blended historically-inspired fashions with illustrations related to current events. Instead of the traditional vignette of French pastoral life, Lil Nas X's look featured graphics that reflect Grossi's feelings on politics and religion.

The Grammy-award winning artist later changed into an equally bold '70s-style, embroidered, white and pink, floral ensemble by designer Richard Quinn.

It wasn't long before Twitter was gushing over the rapper's fashion-forward looks and praising him for his intrepid fashion taste.

"Killing it as always," one Twitter user wrote, while another added, "Still not over Lil Nas X being unapologetically queer on the BET Awards last night."

"Thank you so much for being unapologetically you. You're a gay icon for this. Keep shocking people, let them be uncomfortable with your queerness,"another person commented via Instagram. "It's a power move and a huge inspiration to anyone who is afraid to be themselves."

"You did what needed to be done," someone added. "Thank you for all you do to push society forward."

"You are slaying. And that's on Pride month, baby! Let the haters be mad," wrote another.

Lil Nas X later had a third costume change before giving an ancient Egypt-inspired performance that featured the rapper sharing a kiss with a male dancer.

The provocative performance earned him a standing ovation from the audience and a massive amount of support on Twitter. Unfortunately, it also received an equal amount of criticism from those who accused Lil Nas X of "pushing a gay agenda."

The rapper fired back at one Twitter user for claiming that his performance and kiss were disrespectful of African culture. "Don't use African culture for sh— like this! Respect our ancestors," they wrote, to which Lil Nas X replied: "Y’all really like to pretend homosexuality didn’t exist in African culture."
