Liberty launches two luxury advent calendars for Christmas (but they won't be around for long)
Christmas might be a few months away, but that isn't stopping the team at Liberty London from unveiling their 2023 advent calendars. And yes — there's more than one this year.
First off, the usual suspect: Liberty's Beauty Advent Calendar.
Like previous iterations, this year's offering is shaped like the famous Tudor style store and adorned in illustrations created by artist Clym Everden.
Inside you'll find a huge 29 products (20 of which are full-size) spanning skincare, haircare, make-up, fragrance and even jewellery.
Not just that, in five calendars this year there is a Golden Ticket worth £1000 for lucky customers to spend in-store and online.
Brands spotlighted in the advent calendar include Sunday Riley, Le Labo, Augustinus Bader, Charlotte Mensah and Rose Inc, with a total value of £1,043. But don't fret, as the calendar itself costs £250 to purchase — saving you a whopping £790.
While expensive, it's the most cost-effective way to explore new brands, discover products to add to your beauty routine and add something special to the countdown to Christmas this December.

If that wasn't enough, Liberty has also launched a Men's Advent Calendar. Filled to the brim with 25 products — think luxury grooming must-haves and Liberty favourites — it's worth over £685, but available to buy now for £230. Another generous saving of £455.

Since first launching back in 2014, Liberty's Beauty Advent Calendar has become a cult favourite among beauty shoppers, with sell-out success every year online and long queues outside the iconic Liberty London Regent Street store.
The first edition cost £149 with contents worth £420, and every year since it has become bigger and better, with more brands included and more full-size products inside. Since then, it has increased in price as the contents value has risen.
For example, in 2018 it cost £195 but was worth £600, in 2019 and 2020 it rose again to £215 when the products reached a worth over £600. In 2021, it cost £225 for £840 worth of products and in 2022 it cost £245 with a reported value of over £1,000.
It's often considered the crème de la crème of beauty advent calendars, with its luxury competitors including Fortnum & Mason, Harrods, Selfridges, John Lewis and Harvey Nichols.
