When Season Three of Euphoria hits HBO, Sam Levinson will surely need a new teen or two to shake things up, a la the enrollment of Dominic Fike's Elliot at Euphoria High. Your knee-jerk casting decision just might be Tom Holland as a foreign exchange student. Sam, my man. From Euphoria beat writer to Euphoria creator, may I offer a humble suggestion?

Brian Cox.

Hear me out. It's not too crazy, when you really get to thinking about it. The actor, most well-known for voicing over McDonald's commercials and starring in the rich people show, just released what should absolutely be treated as an audition tape. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night, Cox performed in a Euphoria spoof. In the clip, which you can watch below, Cox replaces Sydney Sweeney in the now-world-renowned Oklahoma! bathroom freakout scene. The celebrated theater actor somehow improves on the performance, adding a healthy dose of Logan Roy-esque whispers and mumbles and death glares. Sure, you can hear Kimmel's audience roaring in the background. It's funny. But I see potential.

What's one of the most common knocks on the kiddos in Euphoria? They don't go to class. Not only do Rue, Jules, Nate, and co. not go to class, but they don't even talk about class. Enter Professor Cox. Yes. It will happen. It may already be happening. Brian Cox will play Euphoria's batshit literature teacher, who SCREAMS AT YOU LIKE THIS if you didn't read Chapter 3 of Huckleberry Finn, and whispers, go fuck yourself, if you tell him that looking at the SparkNotes is basically the same thing as reading the book. And if he sees so much as a bottle of Motrin in your backpack? God help you. Sam, if you're reading this, do the right thing.
