- Model Camila Morrone addressed her and Leonardo DiCaprio's 22-year age gap on Instagram.
- The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor met the model when she was just 10-years-old.
- Morrone tackled the criticism she receives as a result of the relationship.
As you probably already know, DiCaprio is solidly in his mid-forties—44 to be exact—and has been dating Morrone since December 2017. They get a lot of criticism about their age gap, and Morrone actually responded to everyone who said it's pretty creepy.
BTW, DiCaprio and Morrone were introduced through her stepfather, Al Pacino, when she was 10-years-old. And for the record, no matter how old DiCaprio gets, the women he dates pretty much stay the same age. In fact, he has never dated anyone over the age of 25. At least, not according to public knowledge. If you want a visual breakdown of all his high-profile relationships, someone on Reddit made this concerning graph:

So when Camila posted a photo of actors Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart, who had a 25-year age gap, and wrote "a love like this" in the caption, her followers were like, "I can't believe what a dork she is posting something like this. It's obv a comparison to herself and Leo. Girl, where are your friends?? Somebody stop her." Someone else wrote, "Leo only cares about your body," and another added their relationship will be "over when you're 25." Yikes!
Anyway, Morrone saw all that and took to her Instagram Stories to address all the hate. She said:
"Good morning people and happy Friday. I just read some of the comments on my Instagram and... my God, people are so mean and full of anger with people that they know nothing about. I guess I just hope on this Friday that people learn to live with a little less hatred and place their time and interests elsewhere, because living without hatred feels pretty good."
Basically, she just made it clear that her love life is nobody's business.
