After Leonardo DiCaprio has a public breakup with someone, you’ll rarely (if ever) catch them together in public — at least, that’s what we thought. It turns out he sees this one ex “all the time” to co-parent their dog. For longtime DiCaprio fans, you already know who it is: his most recent, high-profile ex Camila Morrone.

A source recently told DailyMail that they regularly talk to one another, saying, “They are on great terms, they see each other all the time because they share custody of their dog.”

We’ve heard about co-parenting a lot when it comes to celebrities are their children, but it’s rare that we hear about a former celebrity couple co-parenting a pup! Normally, when a couple breaks up, they claim to co-parent their pets, but only one ends up keeping them a lot of the time.

While their abrupt breakup was shrouded in mystery, it’s sweet to know that they want to ensure both get time with their beloved dog.

For those that don’t know, the Daisy Jones & the Six star and DiCaprio fostered two huskies in 2020, but ended up only keeping one. They kept one named Jack and rehomed his sister Sally (and the person who adopted Sally posted a TikTok video posted about the awkward encounter with the former pair!)

So, erm, they allegedly originally met when Morrone was only 12, and it was through her former step-dad Al Pacino (who is one of DiCaprio’s best buddies!) However, the meeting that led to their dating is a bit of a question mark, with many assuming they met through mutual circles of friends.

The model and Titanic star started dating back in 2017 and were together until 2022, when they called it quits two months after her 25th birthday.

While DiCaprio has been linked to Gigi Hadid, Victoria Lamas, Eden Polani, Maya James, Josie Redmond, Rose Bertram, and Irina Shayk, Morrone has been focusing on her blossoming acting career!
