LeAnn Rimes Just Posted an Emotionally Raw A Cappella Video That Left Fans Speechless

LeAnn Rimes just blessed her fans with a little mini performance of her latest single from her upcoming album god's work.

In the up close and personal video, the "Can't Fight the Moonlight" rocks a sparkling bikini top while poolside as she sings "awakening" a cappella. The makeup-free performance not only got the attention of fans because of LeAnn's stunning voice because but also because of how amazing she looks.

After sharing the video on both Twitter and Instagram, fans immediately ran to the singer's comments to leave sweet messages like, "this song makes my heart so happy🤍" and "This has been my favorite phase with your writing and voice! All of it amazing but this is special stuff!"

Judging from LeAnn's heartfelt caption, she feels the exact same way. It read, "'awakening' has been one of my favorite moments on 'god’s work' from the moment we wrote it. And to see so many of you connecting with it in the way you have, has made my heart SO full."

The deeply personal track speaks directly to LeAnn's own experience with learning how to navigate her ongoing depression, anxiety, and being able to arrive at a place where she feels comfortable being vulnerable. "When I was writing this track, I was smack dab in the middle of my own awakening," she said. “I was going through this overwhelming volume of emotions, and I was really able to channel those feelings of the pain and ecstasy of the awakening and let them shine through this song," she continued.

With her album's release date of September 16 quickly approaching, we can't wait to hear what this new era in LeAnn's career has in store.
