Lea Seydoux Stuns in Marigold, but Michelle Williams Owns it Forever & Ever

Good luck to anyone who wants to wear a marigold colored gown on the red carpet—ever. Because nearly a decade after Michelle Williams wore that ruffled, burnt yellow Vera Wang to the Oscars the year she was nominated for Brokeback Mountain, we’re still drawing comparisons. Blue is the Warmest Color actress Lea Seydoux wore a custom Prada gown in the same canary-like shade with cut outs on the side. She looked stunning, with plenty of Chopard jewels and a complementary red lip, like Williams. Seydoux walked the red carpet with fellow Bond girl Monica Bellucci (they’re currently filming the next 007 installment Spectre).

And who wouldn’t want to pay homage to that famous look? Williams’ appearance has gone down in the annals of Oscar fashion history as one of the best and it looks like she’ll own the marigold dress-meets-red lip look for eternity.
