Lea Michele, Darren Criss, Chris Colfer, and More Celebrate "Glee" 10-Year Anniversary

Rejoice, Gleeks!

It's officially been a decade since Glee graced our screens for the first time back in 2009. And a whole 10 years later, Lea Michele is taking a walk down memory lane to celebrate the series' anniversary — and revealing some on-set secrets all the while.

On Sunday, May 19, to celebrate the series’ 10-year anniversary Lea stepped into her Rachel Berry shoes with an impromptu Q&A session on both Instagram and Twitter. And Gleeks took the opportunity to ask all the hard-hitting questions first hand — including her worst on-set injury, which turned out to be an “Ice burn from the slushy.” Ouch.

Of course, Lea also took the time to reveal her favorite line, and her favorite episodes — and the most memorable moment from the series. “Finn and Rachel in Central Park, Kurt and Rachel outside Tiffany’s and Wicked theater…” Lea answered, unable to pick just one.

Costar Darren Criss also joined in the fun. “Yes I have a question who is the Gleek of the week,” he asked Lea on Twitter only to be crowned as the Gleek of Gleeks — which, fair enough. “Omg @DarrenCriss you are and will always be....THE GLEEK OF THE WEEEEEEEK!!!!” Lea conceded.

But Lea and Darren weren’t the only ones reminiscing about more glee-ful times. Chris Colfer, who played Kurt Hummel on the series, also took the opportunity to celebrate the momentous anniversary posting a throwback photo in not-so-Kurt-like attire to his Instagram. “Seems like yesterday…” he captioned the snap alongside the hashtag #Glee10thAnniversary.

Jenna Ushkowitz, a.k.a. Tina Cohen-Chang, also shared a pic to her Instagram of the original cast. “Happy #glee10thanniversary! I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since the journey began. I am so honored to have known everyone who was a part of this experience. This show has shaped who I am and granted me a whole family of incredibly talented and kind humans. I am forever grateful to all of YOU who watched and laughed with us every week and made it the show what it was; reaching out and representing those who felt different, unheard, alone or misunderstood and making you feel seen," she wrote.

In turn, Naya Rivera also posted a tribute to her character Santana Lopez on Instagram. “I can't believe it's been 10 years! I'm so blessed to have been a part of such an amazing show. I've made lifelong friends, grew in my craft, and made some of the most beautiful memories because of Glee," she captioned the post, adding, "Being a part of something special makes you special and Glee will always have a special place in my heart."

Glee officially ended in 2015, and since we’ve been blessed with reunions and tours. To say it’s been a crazy ride would be an understatement, but we certainly wouldn’t be opposed to a future reboot, ahem, Ryan Murphy.

After all, Lea herself admitted she’d be “one million percent” down for one.
