You probably know Le Creuset for its colorful, enameled cast-iron cookware. From deep red Dutch ovens to bright blue grill pans, the brand offers something for every style of kitchen. That said, on Thursday, Sept. 1, Le Creuset is releasing a new color for fall, and it’s a beautiful new neutral called Nutmeg.

Nutmeg could be classified as slightly gray or almost taupe, and each item in the color’s collection features a shaded ombré design, from light to dark. It’s a soft color that will complement your other Le Creuset pieces, no matter which colors you already have stocked at home.

In addition to Nutmeg, Le Creuset is expanding its Sea Salt collection on Sept. 1 to include new items such as a pumpkin-shaped Dutch oven, stock pot and bread oven. Sea Salt is a cool, calm, collected light blue inspired by the ocean mineral.

You can find the new Nutmeg-colored cookware at Le Creuset and Sur La Table, both online and in stores. There are over 15 different items in the new color, including a Dutch oven in a couple of sizes, a braiser, a skillet, bakers and mugs. One thing to note is that a few items are Sur La Table exclusives, meaning you can only get them there, and they include a braiser with a glass lid, a multi-function pan and a bistro grill.

You can check out a few items from the Le Creuset Nutmeg Collection below. However, if you like what you see, you may want to get it fast — this color is going to be popular.

Le Creuset first started in 1925 with the cocotte (the French word for Dutch oven). So, you could say the brand is an expert in making versatile cookware items. A braiser has a wide base, so you can place all of your ingredients in a single layer for searing and a domed lid to circulate steam and lock in moisture. A braiser is also good for shallow frying, steaming, casseroles and serving dishes on the table. Keep in mind that you can get the standard braiser on Le Creuset’s website, but this one with the glass lid is only available on Sur La Table.

3. Le Creuset 9-Inch Signature Skillet, $175

The skillet is one of the most-used pieces of cookware in any kitchen. The cast iron is safe to use on the stove, in the oven, on the grill or just about anywhere.
